For a very reasonable price, they custom-molded Dalbello ID Pro liners in less than an hour. I was prepared for days of agony on the slopes adjusting to the new liners. Instead, I walked out with a perfect fit and enjoyed 5 days of pain-free skiing with my kids! What a blessing. I was fortunate to work with Jacques who… read more minced no words in telling me that the boots were too big, nothing could fix that and I had to get a new pair. My new boots are two sizes smaller! I ended up paying about $1300 for my Lupo AX 120s with zipliners and custom footbed, a little more than the one grand price tag that had been indicated to me. While the price difference rankled me for a few days after purchase, I need to say that the boots have made a huge difference in my skiing just like Jacques had said – I could feel the increased responsiveness of my skis in the first few turns. I no longer have to lean super far forward to initiate turns. Jacques is a master of his trade and it is apparent how much he cares about his craft. I value the pro tips I got about boot wear and care – no long johns below boots, only thin socks and I ended up buying the heated boot bag as well. The heated bag made the break in much much easier than it would have been otherwise – the first day I couldn’t ski beyond an hour with un-heated boots. In the end, my boots feel extremely snug around my feet and I’m grateful to have worked with Jacques.

I wore my boots around at home to break them in further, maybe 7 hours STRAIGHT and my feet felt just GREAT! By far the most comfortable ski boots I have ever worn. Cannot recommend this paradise of boot fitting enough, you will leave happy and comfy! Update in 2023- still in the same boots, still perfect. Le Feet Lab is the way.

I can understand the negative reviews by some who were not aware of what Le Feet Lab does. Le Feet need to do a better job of explaining their service.… read more People come in expecting they will fix there ill fitted boots they already own. That is not what they do. They offer a boot system based on the Zipfit boot liner. I went in thinking I was going to replace the liner alone. From what they told me the Zipfit works best in a 3 piece design boot. They offer the Dabello line of boot shells that have been designed to work with the Zipfit liners. Both companies are from Italy and must work together on testing. Le Feet Lab may seem like high pressure sales when you thought you were coming in looking for a liner or boot adjusting, but they offer a full refund if you are not happy with the boots. First they mold a foot bed to your foot, then fit the boot shell and a liner. The system is not cheap, but for $900+ you get a boot that fits great and will last years. I expect the $300 shell will give out before the liner. I was going through boots every two years and about 100 days of skiing because the liner would pack out and become uncomfortable. The Zipfit liner is made with cork and expand back at the end of the day so they fit great every time. Also if you warm up the boots the night before the liner stays warm for a good part of the day. Do your homework before going to Le Lab and will not be disappointed.
