I have been back a couple times to address pressure points. The people that work in the store have been doing it for a long time and are good at it. I will not go anywhere else to get my boots fitted.

One of my (old) ski boots cracked (see pictures 1 and 2) during a 4-day ski trip I went on with a bunch of my friends. I rented some boots… read more at the resort for the rest of the day, then went boot shopping the next day. I went to Christy Sports first, but one of their boot fitters was out due to “COVID protocol”, and the other was booked through the following Tuesday (it was a Saturday). So, I went to Le Feet Lab since they had availability that day about an hour from when I called. I’m a fairly advanced skier – moguls and tree runs are my usual playground. However, I didn’t even realize how my old boots were limiting me. I thought I just needed to work on my technique, but I know now that I needed better fitting boots. My new boots fit perfectly – I even went down a whole size. The difference the custom fit has made in my skiing is incredible. Not only do my skis simply go where I want them to, I also feel better and can ski for longer. I feel much more in control than I used to – I can hop off the top of a mogul, bash into another sideways, and keep going, whereas in my old boots I’d likely lose my balance or cross my skis (yikes) because the ankle was too loose. My old boots also tended to cause pain in the outside of my forefoot. I have a relatively wide forefoot, a relatively narrow heel/ankle, and pretty large calves, so this makes sense. Long story short, after going to Le Feet Lab, I can’t imagine getting ski boots fit any other way.

I can’t recommend Le Feet Lab enough. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to a truly proper ski boot fitting. Skiing is what I love… read more to do most, and before Le Feet Lab, I found myself with miserable, cramping feet and had to unbuckle for every single lift ride. I went in to Le Feet Lab hoping for a fix to make my boots more tolerable, and ended up buying new boots, liners and custom insoles. Best money I’ve ever spent, no joke. I can literally ski bumps all day and never unbuckle my boots, and my boots are a pretty darn stiff flex. Plus, you will really appreciate what a proper fitting boot can do for your skiing…! If you were like me and your boots have never been quite right, do yourself a favor and go see Jackie (or Jacques, or Dan, or Garret) and love skiing again. Update: my heels weren’t staying down as snugly as I needed, so I went back in. They knew exactly what I was talking about, made a quick adjustment to the shell, and somehow I love my boots even more now than ever. Maybe you’re lucky and have the easiest feet to fit in the world, but if you’re anything like me, let Le Feet Lab take a look and change your life 🙂
