For a very reasonable price, they custom-molded Dalbello ID Pro liners in less than an hour. I was prepared for days of agony on the slopes adjusting to the new liners. Instead, I walked out with a perfect fit and enjoyed 5 days of pain-free skiing with my kids! What a blessing. I came to Le Feet seeking a solution to my ill fitting boots – I could ski full days but they hurt. I was fortunate to work with Jacques who… read more minced no words in telling me that the boots were too big, nothing could fix that and I had to get a new pair. My new boots are two sizes smaller! I ended up paying about $1300 for my Lupo AX 120s with zipliners and custom footbed, a little more than the one grand price tag that had been indicated to me. While the price difference rankled me for a few days after purchase, I need to say that the boots have made a huge difference in my skiing just like Jacques had said – I could feel the increased responsiveness of my skis in the first few turns. I no longer have to lean super far forward to initiate turns. Jacques is a master of his trade and it is apparent how much he cares about his craft. I value the pro tips I got about boot wear and care – no long johns below boots, only thin socks and I ended up buying the heated boot bag as well. The heated bag made the break in much much easier than it would have been otherwise – the first day I couldn’t ski beyond an hour with un-heated boots. In the end, my boots feel extremely snug around my feet and I’m grateful to have worked with Jacques.

My family learned this lesson long ago and now four of our five skiers have purchased and/or had their boots modified by Le Feet Lab, with the youngest who has recently stopped growing waiting to get back to Winter Park for her pair. The three who need them also have custom shoe orthotics from Le Feet Lab. Over twenty years, we have been to ski shops & boot fitters in Whistler, Banff, Utah, Vermont and all over Colorado. No one comes close to the talent and skills of Jacques and his daughter Jacqueline. A great value is an amount paid to purchase something you will use again and again for years into the future, so consider the properly sized and if necessary customized boots and liners you will buy from Le Feet Lab as the best ski value you will ever have the opportunity to purchase.
