I was traveling to winter park for a 5 day ski trip and stopped in upon arrival day one to get the process started. I made an appointment about a month ahead of time – definitely a must if you plan to visit during peak season. Also bring your patience with you – it’s not a quick process and it’s a small family owned business, but they work super hard to make sure everyone is getting a great boot fit. Milage will vary on how well your fit goes – my boyfriend who also was fitted for boots only needed one minor tweak to feel comfortable after a day of skiing, whereas I had to stop in 3 more times for adjustments – it just depends on your body. They were very accommodating in making adjustments and made it clear they will work with you until you are happy. One word of warning – the first day of skiing in the boots can be a bit rough. After day one I was worried very about getting to a point where I was comfortable but after the first adjustment I was in much better shape. They were patient, kind, thorough and they really went above and beyond. If you need a ski boot that fits you and doesn’t hurt your feet this is where you need to go. He said those were extremely well done and thought they were better than others he had seen that cost $500.
