The skiboot foot bed felt so good that she had Jacques make a foot bed for her street shoes. In October, we brought the skiboot foot beds back to Le Feet to be adjusted, (due to a slight change in her feet) which he did at no charge. Jacques has been doing boot fitting for many years, and he charges a fair price for an exceptional product. Le Feet Labs guarantees their work unconditionally and they make free adjustments on boots that they have sold or have worked on. Our experience was absolutely without “rough edges” and Jacques was direct but courteous in explaining why it made sense to replace the liner and footbed. I question the negative reviews of Le Feet Labs below. We plan to have one of our sons fitted with a set of boots by Le Feet at Christmastime! Since writing this review, I have purchased boots and orthotics from Jacques and Jaqueline, as have my son and daughter-in-law. The service that we all received was absolutely impeccable. We also purchased Le Fit boot bags with a warming system built in, which are fantastic. Thank you again!

I have a house in Winter Park and normally get 30-45 days in per year. I like to spend a lot of time in the bumps and trees when conditions are right. I can tell you quite simply, these boots are the absolute best $900 you will spend. They will change how you ski. They will change how you feel after you ski. They will allow you to get the most out of the $1000 skis attached to your feet and they will come back day after day, without packing out and without developing hot spots. I seriously question the other reviews on this post. Winter Park is a small town. These reviews sound more like a disgruntled former employee than an actual customer. For instance, earlier this season, I stoppped by Jacques’ shop with the intention of purchasing new shells. After +/- 300 days, my black shells look like they went to war. Jacques took a look at them, made a few adjustments and told me I still had 1-2 seasons left. There was no charge. I was ready to drop $400 buck on shells but I’m still happily wearing what may be the ugliest boots on the mountain! If you’re looking to improve your skiing, decrease your chances of injury and get the most out of the engineering that went in to your skis – and your body – this is the absolute best way to go. My wife is on her fifth year on her Dalbello / Zip Fit boots and she tells people that Le Feet Lab changed her life. She was ready to give up on downhill skiing as she was always having boot issues. Not anymore. Yes. They’re expensive – but so is knee surgery or wasted ski passes because your feet hurt. These boots are an investment in your health, comfort and safety. You get what you pay for and when you consider what you get, these boots are a great investment. If I lost these boots, I would not even consider going to a ski shop and purchasing off the rack from a 24 year old boot fitter (no offense). I would head straight back to Le Feet Lab and purchase again – no question about it. Very highly recommended – and I am a real person, real customer – with no affiliation to the shop. I went to Christy Sports first, but one of their boot fitters was out due to “COVID protocol”, and the other was booked through the following Tuesday (it was a Saturday). So, I went to Le Feet Lab since they had availability that day about an hour from when I called. I’m a fairly advanced skier – moguls and tree runs are my usual playground. However, I didn’t even realize how my old boots were limiting me. I thought I just needed to work on my technique, but I know now that I needed better fitting boots. My new boots fit perfectly – I even went down a whole size. The difference the custom fit has made in my skiing is incredible. Not only do my skis simply go where I want them to, I also feel better and can ski for longer. I feel much more in control than I used to – I can hop off the top of a mogul, bash into another sideways, and keep going, whereas in my old boots I’d likely lose my balance or cross my skis (yikes) because the ankle was too loose. My old boots also tended to cause pain in the outside of my forefoot. I have a relatively wide forefoot, a relatively narrow heel/ankle, and pretty large calves, so this makes sense. Long story short, after going to Le Feet Lab, I can’t imagine getting ski boots fit any other way.

Why not have properly sized pain-free custom fitted boots? My family learned this lesson long ago and now four of our five skiers have purchased and/or had their boots modified by Le Feet Lab, with the youngest who has recently stopped growing waiting to get back to Winter Park for her pair. The three who need them also have custom shoe orthotics from Le Feet Lab. Over twenty years, we have been to ski shops & boot fitters in Whistler, Banff, Utah, Vermont and all over Colorado. No one comes close to the talent and skills of Jacques and his daughter Jacqueline. A great value is an amount paid to purchase something you will use again and again for years into the future, so consider the properly sized and if necessary customized boots and liners you will buy from Le Feet Lab as the best ski value you will ever have the opportunity to purchase.
