I was fortunate to work with Jacques who… read more minced no words in telling me that the boots were too big, nothing could fix that and I had to get a new pair. My new boots are two sizes smaller! I ended up paying about $1300 for my Lupo AX 120s with zipliners and custom footbed, a little more than the one grand price tag that had been indicated to me. While the price difference rankled me for a few days after purchase, I need to say that the boots have made a huge difference in my skiing just like Jacques had said – I could feel the increased responsiveness of my skis in the first few turns. I no longer have to lean super far forward to initiate turns. Jacques is a master of his trade and it is apparent how much he cares about his craft. I value the pro tips I got about boot wear and care – no long johns below boots, only thin socks and I ended up buying the heated boot bag as well. The heated bag made the break in much much easier than it would have been otherwise – the first day I couldn’t ski beyond an hour with un-heated boots. In the end, my boots feel extremely snug around my feet and I’m grateful to have worked with Jacques.

I got zipfits online (don’t do this) I went here to get my zipfits fitted because at home methods didn’t work (who knew). They have worked to address every issue… read more in my foot. I have been back a couple times to address pressure points. The people that work in the store have been doing it for a long time and are good at it. I will not go anywhere else to get my boots fitted.

I can’t recommend Le Feet Lab enough. You really do get what you pay for when it comes to a truly proper ski boot fitting. Skiing is what I love… read more to do most, and before Le Feet Lab, I found myself with miserable, cramping feet and had to unbuckle for every single lift ride. I went in to Le Feet Lab hoping for a fix to make my boots more tolerable, and ended up buying new boots, liners and custom insoles. Best money I’ve ever spent, no joke. I can literally ski bumps all day and never unbuckle my boots, and my boots are a pretty darn stiff flex. Plus, you will really appreciate what a proper fitting boot can do for your skiing…! If you were like me and your boots have never been quite right, do yourself a favor and go see Jackie (or Jacques, or Dan, or Garret) and love skiing again. Update: my heels weren’t staying down as snugly as I needed, so I went back in. They knew exactly what I was talking about, made a quick adjustment to the shell, and somehow I love my boots even more now than ever. Maybe you’re lucky and have the easiest feet to fit in the world, but if you’re anything like me, let Le Feet Lab take a look and change your life 🙂

Update: My boots needed an adjustment and the wonderful staff at Le Feet hooked it up. She said that the plastic of my boots will adjust over time, but… read more adjustments are included in the initial purchase, so there was no charge. They always offer me an espresso or water during the adjustment. Absolutely a class act. I am so thankful! I am so incredibly grateful for the folks at Le Feet Lab. Skiing was so painful. My boots took the joy away from the experience. I was only getting about 3 runs in before I had to stop. Not any longer! They took over 2 hours to make sure my boots fit perfectly. I got the works. Was it kinda expensive?.. A bit. Was it worth every penny- yes! Would I do it again in a heartbeat? Absolutely! Thank you for the time, experience, and know-how to bring the joy back to skiing.
